Ride of Silence Bike Route

Ride of Silence Bike Route

Tomorrow, the “Ride of Silence” will take place.

The Ride of Silence is meant to encourage automobile drivers to share the road and show respect to bicycle riders, and to honor those cyclists who have perished at the hands of drivers who failed to do so.

The 12-mile ride will begin at 6:30pm in Gas Works Park, and will wind through Eastlake, South Lake Union, Downtown, Belltown, and back up to Gas Works Park.  Riders are expected to pass Seattle City Hall at 7pm.

The event is free for all to participate.
