Pioneer Square Lane Closures on Saturday Posted by Lucy on May 30, 2012 at 12:41 pm First Avenue South will be reduced to one lane in each direction on Saturday, June 2 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. through the Pioneer Square area. The Seattle Department of Transportation’s Urban Forestry section will set up traffic control to allow volunteers to safely perform landscaping work in the street median. The lanes will be closed from Cherry Street to Railroad Way South.
