This Friday, November 4th from 4pm to 11:55pm, the curb lane on University Street between 2nd Ave and 1st Ave will be used as a Valet Parking load zone for Seattle Art Museum’s Mario Batali Event.

Due to water damage until further notice. At 4:40pm, an informational call went out to SPD warning them of a planned “big fight” in or around Westlake Park or Westlake Center at 5pm. The police agreed to show a presence in the area at that time as a deterrent. If you plan to walk near Westlake Park this afternoon, please be aware of your surroundings and steer clear of any congregated groups of people.  Live Photo from Downtown Seattle Metro Bus Shooting 1:02pm – A man has reportedly been shot on a Metro Bus at 3rd & Seneca. More information as it is received. Cops arrive to a call for “shots fired” on a Metro Bus.  A Pay for Parking Lot near the Waterfront There have been several incidents Downtown lately where people posing as parking attendants have ripped off unsuspecting drivers while the real attendants were changing shifts, on a break, or were otherwise not at their post.  Seattle Police 8:10am: The block is currently closed to both vehicular and pedestrian traffic due to a crime investigation.
